I love Hong Kong. You have heard me say it before, but here I go again. There is a stunning variety of people here. I know people from Hawaii, Israel, India, Lithuania and Mong Kok. Bloody amazing.

And the thing is, with our varied backgrounds and experiences we all have something different to share.

And in theory, for Gweilos like myself, this is a Hardship posting. Well hello sailor! Sign me up for the Hard Ship.

This site can be used as a gathering place for new ideas. A place to list new events... or even suggest new events. Or maybe make existing events and venues even better.

For instance: I want to see a NY style piano sing along night. Some musical theatre queen tinkling away while the rest of the bar belts out bars from Rent or Wicked or god forbid... Cats. But then, I like it a bit camp.

Or this: A gay running club. Let's get together and run on Bowen Road twice a week.

Or this: Drag Queen Bingo. Actually it's already in the works, but it could really use some volunteers.

Or this: Gay Bowling... Also happening by the by. June 10th to start. (already happened... we had a blast! Next is indoor skiing.)

This site is now officially a community effort, with some of the most active people in our community contributing. We are hoping the community takes action. This site can become more than just a place for random ramblings, but a resource for brainstorming, and an inspiration for members to grab the bull by the horns and participate in making it even more great to be gay in Hong Kong.
